| SafariKenya and Tanzania are probably favorite destinations for safari lovers. But note, that Kenya while offering the cheapest safaries is also the most crowded with tourists. Botswana offering many small and exclusive camps and South Africa with its good roads might be your choice if you want to be more independent and to drive around by yourseld. Before you start planning you safari trip there are a couple of questions you have answer. First of all, you have to decide which animals you want to see since Africa can offer you safari with wide choice of mammals, reptiles and bidrs. Most popular animals are lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and elephants. If you want to save your time and to see all of the animals in one trip you should visit on of the National Parks in Kenya (Masai Mara) or Tanzaniia (Serengeti National Park). Next question is how close you want to see those animals. Except 4x4 vehicles you can choose elephants, camels, horses, bikes, canoes or ballon safari. Than you have to decide whether you would be satisfied with photo from your camere or you want to shoot some animal with a gun and to receive a trophy for your living room wall. If you want to be independent, than instead of booking camping or package safari you can rent a car and plan your trip by yourself. But don't forget to have extra supply of gasoline, food and water. What realy makes safari exciting is an element of danger so you should follow the rules and precautions of your safari operator. |
